Purchased this for a 2 year old who is fascinated with buttons and toggles. This was perfect for him! His 3.5 year old sister can also be found playing with it. Sturdy, self play entertainment!

This is the best toy I've gotten my one year old so far, and she has Lovevery toys, pikler set, balance bike, blocks, etc. This is the activity she comes back to time and time again, every day. We use this board when I need to get something done like cooking, cleaning, or organizing. This will keep her focused for 30+ minutes which is not easily attained with a toddler lol. We do place her in the pack and play when she is handling this so that if she drops it it lands on the mat, and not our hardwood floors. Its a great item to keep her contained and content in a pack and play, when I need to use the restroom, or I need to place fragile things on the floor as I'm organizing. This keeps my projects around the house out of reach from her for at least 30 minutes. Once I am done, I take her out and let her run around to expend energy and do a different activity, until the next "project" lol, then this board comes back out again. This busy board is worth every penny. It is exceptionally well made. In line with "Montessori" method of play and learning. She's mastered some things on the board with a beaming smile, and is challenged by others. Don't think twice, JUST GET IT!

All the various switches give plenty of opportunity for learning of all ages. My one year old niece quickly figured out the push button, but now has plenty more switches to work with and learn.
