I don't know that I've used enough of this to properly write a review.My friends and colleagues have. They saw this, they borrowed it, they used it, they told me how great it was and how brilliant the dispenser was, repeat.

This is a fairly useful product from Scotch; a 19mm broad, tough, matt-finished roll of tape that comes on it`s own snail-dispenser.The tape is invisible and non-yellowing; as the blurb in the product description above says, it is good for photocopying documents that one might have assembled to experiment with layout or composition. I found it to be easily re-positionable (though that may depend on the types of paper one uses it with). It can be written on with pencil, but some inks (I used a rollerball for experimentation) sit on the surface and need time to dry, otherwise they smear easily.I am quite happy to use this for graphic artwork and preparing material to scan into my computer; it states above that it is permanent, so I might venture into using it for finished pieces like collages or mixed-media; the price is currently unavailable – it did have a ridiculous £30+ price tag, which - for one roll - I assume was incorrect. Otherwise, its a handy product to have in my art toolbox.

Use this tape to mend paper as invisibly as possible. You can just see it after applying it, but I was impressed that a tape could blend in as well as it does. I ripped some junk mail to test it, and then scanned it after using the tape to fix it, and the mend was invisibleI could write on the tape with a felt tip pen and a biro. However, the biro writing was less sharp than it would be on paper. Perfectly legible, but not identical.I was surprised at how expensive it is though especially when it is available elsewhere on Amazon at the usual price. £37.26 ?! I received this tape free for an honest review and its a useful tape, but I wouldn't pay that price. I contacted the seller to ask if it was a mistake, and they were going to check it, but so far the price stands. This would be 4 or 5 stars at a reasonable price.

I was provided with a roll of this tape for review. It is very strong but easy to break off. You can write on it and I can see it would be useful for all kinds of projects. I was a little confused on the price as it states £37 which seems rather expensive but maybe you get more than one roll ??

As I understand it, it's the tape dispenser that is the topic of discussion here. Its snail-like appearance is kind of cute, and the shape is both functional and appealing. It cuts the tape easily, rolls out smoothly, and works as it should. It'll work with any appropriately sized tape, Scotch brand nor not, and is a bit more lively than a normal dispenser.
