I always slept with a thin pillow on my waist and hip at night for that tiny hug and secure feeling. I bought this lap size weighted blanket and it is amazing! I cannot describe the feeling everytime I place this on my stomach or hip at night. It soothes instantly. It is the perfect size to use without too much weight. I tried a full size weighted blanket in the past and felt like I was being pinned down. This lap size weighted blanket is the Perfect Weight for me. Works for dental anxiety. Just the right size to take along to an appointment. I like to stroke mine, which came in velour and not flannel as advertised, for textural soothing. Tiny clear glass beads do escape occasionally, one or two at a time and about the size of a grain of sand.

Great size. Perfect weight. Nice color. My BF likes it so much I have to order him his own. I have a weighted blanket I like but this is so nice to have on the couch.

I weighed it on my scale, and it is exactly 7 lbs as described, and the fabric is soft. It folds up small to tuck into the corner of the couch. I've used this now a couple of times with a heating pad while I was pushing congestion out of my chest and it was just the right amount of weight. I've also just laid with it across my waist and hips, and it provides a comforting amount of weight similar to when my cats try to sleep on me if I would just lie still. I'm looking forward to doing more work with this blanket and a heating pad on an older muscle injury to see what happens.

I love this! I have other weighted blankets, and these take the cake! Bonus: my cats haven’t been able to damage it while kneeding! It is perfect for the couch, bed, wheelchair, travel, whatever. It’s a perfect size to keep you covered. I have weakness in my limbs, and this is easy to adjust and move around comfortably. It’s so soft, warm, comfortable, and functional. I love the colors and they help me sleep well!
