Thick rubber with self adhesive backing made the loft hatch much better at preventing drafts.My house was built in 1972 so you expect a few drafts in a properly of that age. The loft hatch has always been a bug bear of mine so when I saw this tape I thought why not try it out.The loft hatch isn’t that drafty but you definitely notice a difference since I have applied the tape.I’m going to paint over the edge of the rubber to blend in the white as it’s quite prominent at the moment. Hopefully the paint will adhere to the rubber but only time will tell.So far though very impressive. I was able to cut the tape in half along the diameter as that was the perfect width required for the loft hatch. It was very easy to cut with sharp scissors much to my wife’s annoyance as she uses those for sewing but heyho needs must.It sticks down really well and so far much less drafts so highly recommend.

For draughtproofing this proved to be worth it's weight in gold, high quality rubber that fells like it will last the years.Cut to size and left to rest for a bit then applied, which was really easy, and the adhesive followed the slight imperfections on the surface with ease.There are cheaper products for draught proofing but this is easily a long term solution.

Using this on the edge of our garage roller shutter door. The old rubber slightly perished and this looked like it would be a suitable replacement. It was, the rubber is decent quality, I laid it out for half hour or so before beforehand to let it roll flat.Easy to fix, and use a couple of rivets just to give it some extra strength.Exactly as expected, good value for money, happy to recommend
