i swapped this new 14T for my old 18T singlespeed, and although i got the higher topspeed, it was at the expense of loud cracking noises for two days, reluctance to coast on day 3, and by day 5 it was a fixie - good thing i kept the links for the new chain i bought and installed a 16T i kept for a rainy day. maybe i was unlucky, but i was able to return to Amazon and get a refund within days!
