As advertised. Great quality. Did exactly what I needed it to do. Gives you many options on how you want to set up your drum set. Well worth the money. All Gibraltar hardware has been spot on.

Purchased this to attach an 8" Yamaha tom. It's very sturdy and was exactly what I was looking for.

I am very happy with this product as I am with most products that are made from Gibraltar. These clamps are solid and road worthy, and I don't see them malfunctioning any time soon. The only thing I don't like about this product is that there are three different types of adjusting mechanisms which can be cumbersome when you make adjustments. First, you have wing nut for clamping your hardware; second, you have a bolt located on the adjacent side of the wing nut; and lastly, you need a drum key to to loosen the screw to rotate the clamp angle. I would rather keep things simple and stick with one fastening mechanism- it's a minor gripe though. Regardless, I highly recommend this product for adding accessories to your cymbal stands because of the durability and functionality.

This is one of three drum hardware pieces I recently bought for use on my drum set.I'm using this bad boy to mount up a 3-X-13" piccolo snare on my drum set. The clamp has been mounted to the base of my very sturdy rototom stand, while the top portion of my snare stand (the basket assembly) is secured to the second grabber in the clamp. The piccolo snare now sits at a perfect playing angle, right next to my hi-hat stand and larger main snare drum, and secured to a very sturdy clamp.And like my SC-EA250, there are notches in this clamp's grippers for making use of memory locks. I don't need one for my lightweight piccolo snare, since the gripper clamp is strong enough to bear the weight without a memory lock. But for those of you who need memory locks for apps such as mounting a tom, these notches on the grippers will come in very handy for you.And as with other brands, you can always count on Gibraltar for making quality drum hardware. They also make products not available from other brands, such as the SC-EA250 dual-ended clamp and extension arm (I'm gonna be using such a piece to mount up a large crash or ride cymbal, depending on space).
