This is a great tremolo pedal, especially if you're new to the tremolo game or you simply like an easy to use pedal. Only 3 adjustments to tend with; speed, mix, and volume. If you like mini-sized pedals, you'll like it even more.

Got this because it was the only mini sized pedal I could find with a volume control. Very nice sounding overall and the adjustable dip switches inside are useful for getting a wide range of speed out of this thing. It has plenty of volume on tap, but you gotta watch your signal level going into it. If your incoming signal is too hot (like if you are using a keyboard with line level output or a guitar/bass with active pickups), the pedal will start to clip a little. Especially if you have the volume turned up. That’s my only concern, I like everything else about the Tidewater.

I've been watching JHS on YouTube and really wanted to try out some of his gear. I was going to get a Boss trem pedal but saw this was basically the same price so I went this way. The sound is great - I can dial in a whole range of tremolo to get it just like I want. Build quality is great. I'll be looking to expand my collection of pedals from JHS.

It's a solid little trem. Build quality is decent. Not on par with of the tankier pedal makers like boss, but solid enough.Sounds good, but it is a tremolo. So, keep in mind that the effect type isn't the most versatile, but a good pedal for what it is.
