This has surprised me no end, it is ready to go out of the box and never needs to be primed or warmed up in any way, no wetting required obviously and just the best thing ever in my opinion. A sturdy build which should last for some time if treated well offsetting the high price quite considerably and the control and tone of my playing has enhanced no end using this french cut 2.5 to the point that I am surprising myself. Definitely one of my better life decisions.
