My 13yr old granddaughter has been learning to play her Acoustic/Electric Martin Guitar for close to 2 yrs. The 2 1/2” leather strap she was using was nice but had a suede backing & constantly clung to most of her clothes to much. After searching everywhere for a nice soft garment type leather on both front & back, that was light weight, wasn’t to slippery or clingy, would adjust perfectly to her slim 5’2” frame plus adjustable as she grows, without any padding & could fit nicely in her guitar case, I truly found her the absolutely perfect 2 1/2” leather guitar strap!!! SHE LOVES IT!! We haven’t had any black dye transfer issues & haven’t treated the leather with anything yet.From my granddaughter, her guitar instructor & I we all would recommend this Levy’s guitar strap if it checks all the boxes of what your looking for in a great quality comfortable soft leather guitar strap.

Great strap, buttery soft. This is my second one, I leave my straps on my guitars.

The photo showed a finely grained black leather strap but what arrived was plain glossy black. The strap is top quality however and I decided to keep it. I have since seen the correct price for the grained one by the same maker and it was at least £10 more than I paid - so I have to conclude it was just the wrong photo.
