I purchased the micfuns pop filter for recording podcasts and streaming. The build quality is excellent - the foam windscreen is thick and dense, and the dual screen pop filter seems very sturdy. However, I couldn't get it to fit well on my microphones. I have an AudioTechnica AT2020+ and Shure Podmic, both shorter studio mics. The windscreen is really designed for longer cylindrical broadcast mics. The foam itself works great at reducing plosives when I can get it positioned right up against the mic grille. But it's too big and covers a lot of my face when I try using it for streaming.Overall this is a well made pop filter that probably works great for the mics it's designed for. But it doesn't fit short stubby studio mics very well. If you have a long cylindrical mic, I'd recommend it. But for studio vocal mics, you may want a different windscreen. The build quality is excellent though!

This is a good concept. It’s basically a foam noise isolation unit you can fit over a condenser microphone. I’m a musician and I record in my home studio, so I have the room fairly well controlled overall, but the spot directly in front of my computer gets a little bit of hollow reflection. I also do fairly frequent radio interviews from the computer, and this is a really nice answer to tame the sound. It isolates the microphone nicely from the room and has a really nice pop filter built in.It is easy to put on the microphone. The instructions that come with it are minimal, but it’s not the least bit difficult to figure it all out. There is a foam collar that pops out of the bottom that you will want to work down below the mic’s grill. If your mic has controls on it like mine does, you want to be careful to reset everything once you have the collar on. Then you settle the foam isolator over the foam collar. It helps to remove the pop filter so you can see what you’re doing.I did short voice recordings with and without the isolation unit on, and there is a very discernible difference. The voice comes through very warm and with no room echo at all. It also mutes random room noise, like the AC unit. It does reduce the signal, but not enough that I can’t compensate by adjusting the gain. I’m not sure I will like it for musical vocals, but for podcasting or radio interviews it will be wonderful.
