I have purchased and continue to enjoy a number of fuzz pedals (Bass Big Muff, Fuzz Face, Z.Vex Mastotron, MarkBass Distorsore...). However, this is the one I've been searching for. If I had purchased this one first it would be the only one I own. I can dial in so many sounds easily. It has four knobs, but they are intuitive and after a few hours of use your sound can be dialed in quickly. The separate Wet and Dry controls vs. a blend is a stroke of genius. However, what put me in seventh heaven is finally being able to dial in the sound of Jack Bruce's bass on Zappa's Apostrophe. I love it I love it I love it! Just buy it, you will not regret it!

Bought this a few months ago. When it was on sale for some reason. And I love it. It has its defects, such as having a pretty noticeable hum, and not having a volume adjustment. But beside that, it delivers a great fuzz and tone.

I purchased this pedal to use in a classic rock band. I have used several other bass fuzz pedals and have not found a satisfactory combination of major fuzz, good pitch definition, and maintenance of low bass output. This pedal rocks!! Massive fuzz, which can be diluted by mixing wet and dry output. Excellent pitch definition, and the low bass really comes through. Using a Pedulla MVP-5 and a Marshall stack with Genz Benz Streamliner 900. MXR puts out great quality pedals. I am also using their noise gate and bass octave pedals.Highly recommended!
