It's hard to explain but the design is really good and compared to the other 2 styles we've tried these are the most reliable.The knob to open the latch is shaped in such a way that you really need a sophisticated pinching grip to open it. You can't open it with one finger. And a normal pinch with the tips of two fingers requires a lot of finger strength.
