A couple years ago I taught my daughters, 9 & 10, to play MTG over a three day ice storm and they liked it but we didn’t stick to it.Don’t know why but it got brought up and we tried it again with my girlfriend and it was a mixed bag.Then I bought the Foundations starter box and they love it!I just wish I could get them to switch to my cards, all from the 90’s.I highly recommend this Starter Box, it has, I think, 10 twenty card decks that you pick two of and mix them together and play 40 card games. They said they love the mats that it comes with.Have fun. I also recommend the Bloom burrow set, it’s bunnies, squirrels, and forest creatures, not zombies and monsters.

I bought this set after playing Game Night a bit, intending to build my own decks and experience the thrill of opening booster packs. Game Night is really good, but it became predictable after a few games and isn't ideal for 1 vs. 1 play. So, I plan to create new decks or enhance those from Game Night. The life counter, which goes up to 99, is also handy since a D20 die may not suffice when playing with cards that allow you to gain life. I also appreciate the card box; despite being made of cardboard, it’s of good quality and fits sleeved cards—unlike the Game Night box, which has that limitation.The biggest surprise was the Play Booster packs. I didn’t expect to get anything valuable from them, and initially, I thought I didn’t. Then I reviewed all the cards, and it turned out that one of them (Bloodthirsty Conqueror) is worth over 23 euros today—almost half the total price of the set. No surprise—this is a really good card! I got lucky, and now I’m even happier with my decision to get the set.Regarding the shipping, I have no complaints whatsoever. The package was factory-sealed and arrived without any damage, even though I bought the last available item, which initially made me worry it might have been a return.
