Good product

It was perhaps the explanation in the product description that threw me off but the plastic dough is not moldable less than one minute after taking out of the water. There are some work arounds - like molding it in the hot water - but take that into account when buying. Otherwise, its a good product.

Bon produit, je l'utilise en bricolage, pour diverses petite réparations.Il suffit de chauffer au alentour de 65 ° dans de l'eau pour obtenir une "agglomération" des micros billes. ( évidemment prendre l’aggloméra ainsi formé avec une pince qui résiste à la chaleur ! ) Les couleurs se mélangent bien. On ne se brûle pas les mains, le produit se modèle bien, tant qu'il est relativement chaud. Une fois refroidi on peut le poncer manuellement. Mais évidemment bien se mettre en tête que ce n'est pas fait pour des réparations qui doivent chauffer !Je conseille ce produit, bon rapport qualité/prix.

Le plastique fond avec de l'eau bouillante et se manipule facilement. Il devient blanc après durcissement à l'air libre et est très solide. Il convient parfaitement pour réparer des petites pièces irréparables avec de la colle.

habe damit eine schlimm gesplitterte kunststoffbubble von ca 25cm durchmesser in verschiedenen farben überzogen und jetzt ist das ding wieder echt stabil. verarbeitung ist wirklich einfach, allerdings muss man ziemlich schnell sein. besonders bei grpßeren flächen ist das nachjustieren dann nicht ganz so einfach, z.b. wenn man verschieden farben zusammen setzen möchte. ich hab aber am schlus das ganze teil in eine schale wasser gesellt und bei 70 grad in den ofen, bis alles wieder transparent war und dann die kanten geglättet.super die farb-päckchen, total einfach und schöne farben. man benötigt allerdings wirklich nur wenige körnchen.

I used this for the first time last night, and managed to make a couple of end caps to fit over the sharp blade ends of a gardening mini mattock tool, so I can store the tool safely and carry it in a bag to the allotment without risk of injury, etc. Very easy and effective! I imagined I'd have to stitch a make a protective cover out of leather or strong webbing, but had a go with this stuff and it seems to have done the job! It took a little fiddling and experimenting, but the end caps push securely onto the blade ends and don't fall off.I thought the plastic might stick to the steel blades and be difficult to get off, but the plastic didn't stick to the metal at all. I guess because the metal is so cold. You could probably get it to stick by heating the metal up first, if for example you wanted to make a plastic handle for a metal tool.Really impressive stuff. Quite hard and tough once it has cooled down. Kind of similar to the plastic a bucket or washing up bowl might be made of, but somewhat harder.And the best part is that it is fully re-useable, so if your first attempt at making somethng doens't turn out too well, just drop it back in the hot water until it's softened and try again. Also, if you no longer need the item you have made, you can melt it down and turn it into something else! So you never need to throw this stuff away, and it will never end up in the ocean or in landfill!I followed the instructions and added just a few grains of yellow pigment to a few dessert spoonfuls of the white granules, thinking it probably wouldn't be enough to properly colour the plastic, but it end up a nice bright yellow.[PS - a minor niggle, but my pack had two sachets of black colouring granules and no sachet of green. Obviously an oversight, or a packing clerk who is colour blind.]

Ce produit est d'excellent qualité : modelé en une fine plaque de 3 mm d'épaisseur, il est impossible de le déformer durablement, encore moins de le casser en morceau. Je suis bluffé par sa solidité.Ce matériau est idéal pour la réalisation de pièces mécaniques où la solidité est essentielle.Oubliez le PVC ou le polystyrène.Je vois déjà plein d'usages futurs dans mes réparations.Pour info, brut (sans colorant ni additif) : chaud (>70°C), lors de la phase de modelage il est transparent comme du plexiglas, mais une fois refroidi il est d'un blanc totalement opaque. Le colorant blanc fourni ne semble pas nécessaire si la couleur recherchée est blanche.Elle sera tout de même utile pour obtenir du gris par exemple avec du noir.A ceux qui ne trouvent pas les colorants : les granulés de colorants sont dans des sachets individuels inclus dans le sac principal de granulés de matière.
