Just what I wanted

Mounted this Into the console cup holder on my Wilderness Systems Aspire kayak. This kayak has no flat surface to put a normal mounting flange. This Railblaza works great, at least the mounting part. The actual rod holder is very sturdy and should work adequately. The lock lever is difficult to shift but hoping that will wear-in with some use.The round mounting base needs a 3/4" spacer to raise it up. Without the spacer, the adjustment knob hits the side of the cup holder. I used a 3" hole saw to cut a wooden spacer that is 2-7/8" diameter. It fits well. Used two SS screws, 1/4-20 x 2" length with lock nuts to mount it. There are 2 additional screw holes in the mounting base that need flat head countersunk machine screws size #8 x 1-3/4" length. I have not installed these 2 additional screws yet. It is pretty sturdy without them. If I can find these screws, I will add them just to reduce the flexibility of the plastic cup holder. If you are wanting a rod holder or accessory mount for your recreational kayak, this works great.

I installed this on my FeelFree Nomad kayak, with 2 rod holders beside the seat, but wanted to have the rod held in front of me with this device, too.Easy to fit, I installed it just ahead of the water bottle holder using the screw and bolt option (you also get stainless coarse thread screws if you can't get to the insides to affix the screw and bolt option) along with threadlock and silicone sealant inside and out, where the bolts go through, to reduce water ingress. So far it's been very waterproof.It's easily adjusted to suit your angle of choice, and looks to be useable with winter gloves on. as the slider and button are quite large.Feels very well made and strong enough to cope. Nice to have other options with the star lock always attached to the kayak.I like the feature of a plug cover for the star lock port when it's not in use, very neat.

Einfach genial hier hat jemand nachgedacht habe sie auf einem Schlauchboot auf der Sitzbank montiert sind fixiert und halten selbst beim schleppen richtig fest Material der Halter ist sehr robust und die Verstellung der Winkel und die einfache Demontage aus dem Port einfach der Hammer Finger weg von einfachen Halterungen das bringt alles nichts kann ich nur weiterempfehlen genial ist das Geld wert !

Le produit correspond à ce que je souhaitais le seul problème est lorsque j'ai reçu le paquet il manquait la molette de serrageJ'ai payé ce produit moins cher qu'ailleurs mais je dois maintenant trouver une molette ou faire une réclamation à Amazone mais pour le prix et le temps que je vais y passer c'est pas satisfaisantje sais ce que je ferai la prochaine fois!
