This was bought on recommendation for a 12 year old. It is super light with a smaller diameter handle, but extremely powerful. I would not hesitate to buy the same again for my young 7 year old. He is playing with a Junior Technofibre which I also recommend.

I like this racquet a lot. It gives good power, and nice control. I'm not a good player, but I like the weight as being just right, not sure anything lighter would give the same power HOWEVER it is heavier than described (see image). In the description it is listed as 110g. On the racquet, the unstrung weight is listed as 129g, with frame only listed as 91g. All in I weight it as 141g (see second image). Still very lightweight, certainly lighter than my previous racquet (and has a larger head), but not quite as described. I do recommend, I like it a lot.
