Amazing 3d model made of wood with great attention to details. Wood plate is sturdy but small pieces are easy to remove. It needs a lot of patience and time to put together. I am still in the process of finishing it.Reasonably priced. Great gift. I love it.

This looks great once you’ve finished building it, but if you’re lacking in patience then you might find it a frustrating project. I really enjoyed making it, but I’m also a keen model maker and I don’t mind searching for tiny pieces and working out how they fit relevant to the plans. If that’s not you then I’d be tempted to try something simpler to find out if it’s something you enjoy.I found the instructions easy enough to follow, and the pieces are all very precisely cut and fit together with no slack at all. If you just take your time you shouldn’t have a problem.One thing I would point out is that I think the item title is a little misleading. It’s not really a puzzle as there’s no element of mystery and need to work out what goes where. It’s better to think of it as a model kit instead. Unless you’re aware of this I wouldn’t recommend gifting it to a fan of puzzles, unless they’re also interested in modelling.I highly recommend it and am happy to give it five stars.

As someone who has built a lot of flat pack furniture and followed instructions easily, this was a challenging model to put together and better suited to those with more experience. Their ETA is 3 hours but took me around 6 hours!One of my main issues was with the wood pieces which are grouped together in different sections, often with very faint letters & numbers to identify them which doesn't help. This requires you to constantly jump from one sheet to another to another just to put together one small part. It would be far better had each part had it all its wood pieces on the same sheet.The other main issue (apart from the manuals which could be better designed) with the parts is that most of them are very fragile and several of petals in particular snapped with the smallest of touches when putting together - fortunately these (as well as some of the most fragile ones) at least had some spares.The main unit does feel at least feel sturdy enough once built to allow it to be easily moved (if you avoid the cello's parts), but unfortunately the motor in mine doesn’t work smoothly. As a result of this I don’t get the proper sound and I'm not wasting any more time to replace this as other parts broke when I took it apart to investigate the first time.Overall, despite being pretty I don't believe the effort was worth the end result let alone the RRP, mainly due to the fragility of the model and motor issue.

Beautiful, well presented and would make a lovely gift. I'm not sure I'd call it a 3d Puzzle as to me its more of a model build kit, but that makes no difference as it great for people that like to do either. And it comes wiith instructions and all fits together without glue and no need for batteries either in order to play the music box.Also great this has some colour instead of being plain wood.As I said it would make a great present. I want to give it 5 stars but the price of £45 is a little expensive really for a 3d puzzle/model build kit.
