Samuel barber: adagio for strings (saxophone quartet) - score/parts

I didn't know it would be possible to produce a dull arrangement of Barber's masterpiece, but Warner managed to accomplish it. The theme isn't passed around between the parts (alto never gets the melody? Really?), it feels cut short, and the dynamics are either not noted or subdued. Unless you want to rewrite it yourself, find another arrangement.

The score itself is well formatted and very nicely laid out. Although when i came home to find it folded and squashed into my mailbox i can't say I was the happiest I've ever been. So now i have this crumpled up score that will make me see unproffesional for I conduct this in a few weeks. Very dissapointing
