Set di posate in stile retrò veramente stupendo, hanno fatto una magnifica figura sia al pranzo di Natale che al cenone di Capodanno. Belle e robuste, le ho lavate a mano e anche in lavastoviglie e non ne hanno minimamente risentito, sono davvero di ottima fattura! Un buon acquisto non c'è che dire!

Pretty but lightweight

At the time of writing this review, this 20 piece gold colored silverware set costs $35.99.We have two kitchens in our house, one up stairs and a mini one down stairs. We always end up with most of the cutlery in one or the other, and it's frustrating when we go to sit down to eat and we have to run to the other kitchen to grab something. My hope is that with this set, we can keep this down stairs as it's easy to identify and separate from what we already have.The gold finish has completely survived 10 washes so far, and not-so-gentle use. I am pleasantly surprised at how well these have kept their color. They've been dish-washered, lets on burners, dropped, used to scrape things off of cast iron - still look great so far.They have a nice weight to them. They look and feel much more expensive than they actually are. The handles have an almost elegant look and feel, it reminds me of antique royalty.This set is perfect for one meal for a family of four, or if you're like us, two people who usually wait two meals to turn on the dish washer.You'd be hard pressed to find another set in this price range with the same looks and quality.

Ich war anfangs etwas skeptisch, vor allem bezüglich der schwarzen Farbe (ob diese zb abblättert). Aber ich muss wirklich sagen, das Besteck ist einfach nur wunderschön. Es liegt sehr gut an der Hand und fühlt sich hochwertig an. Die Farbe hält bisher sehr gut, selbst wenn mal mit dem Schwamm geschrubbt wird.

I love these. The flawless black is beautiful to look at. I almost wanted to put these on display; but I have always loathed the concept of display kitchenware. But these look really good on my burgundy placemats.My specific use case is that I wanted silverware that was lightweight: these are most certainly lightweight, even having cutouts on the handle ensuring no excess weight. This is in sharp contrast to my previous set of forks, which had handles so darn heavy that they were always falling off the plate, and even trays carrying the plates. An awful problem to have, and one that these implements have solved fully.I have yet to drop one of these, and they are feather light in the hand, so even the children love using these.That being said, two things should be noted:1.) These are borderline sharp. The thinness of the metal can allow one to get a solid poke or scratch if not paying attention. This is noted on the table knives, as right now, at least, they are almost sharp enough to cut steaks with! And they have a shape that is somehow really cool. Spreads things nicely.2.) Durability? The thinness makes me question how long they will last. Really only the times on the forks, the concern is will they get bent easily? The table knives are solid and I have zero concern on durability for the knives, spoons, or serving spoons. I want to say that on the dessert/salad forks I have, that they have a slight bend to them already. But all the times are in line, so if there was a bend, it is uniform through all 4. And I cannot tell for certain. So something I will watch, but not an overt issue at this time.The black finish is mirror like, and thus far through a week of daily use and washing in the dishwasher, complete with tossing against other much heavier silverware, the black finish remains flawless. No little scratches, no chips. This impresses me the most. Excellent set.
