Je l'utilise actuellement avec une tablette, contenant de la musique en flac, connexion en usb (tablette/dac) et analogique (dac/ampli). Très bon son, aucune agressivité, la télécommande fait son job mais j'aurais aimé que l'on puisse passer avec à la piste suivante, en gros un bon achat.

I have very expensive speakers and they sound great. Decided to play around with DAC and I bought to try this SMSL. It brought the sound to the next level. I would not say 100% improvement but about 20-30 % for sure, which is a lot and noticeable. I can hear the difference. Now my system sounds even better. I am using filter #2 , # 1 sounds really good too but a bit bright it will be fine for the systems that have a dull sound. Remote is very convenient. Highly recommended.

Det här är en mycket kompetent dac Låt dig inte luras av priset, visst den vinner inga skönhetspris men är däremot lätt att gömma undan. Den låter snäppet klarare med usbströmförsörjningen inkopplad. Jag kör med ett enklare sony usbladdare, funkar bra så länge det är ett kvalitet/känt märke. Är det värt att köpa SMSL M200 istället?Jag har båda och M200 känns lite tyngre och rubustare . Den är snäppet bättre när det gäller djup och instrumentens placering i ljudbilden. Diskanten är lite mer lättflytande också, men karaktären på båda är väldigt lik.Mycket lättflytande ljud utan vasshet.Har du inte tillgång till ett riktigt högupplösande system så köp sanskriten. Räkna med att det tar ett tag innan ljudet lossnar och harmonin infinner sig, i början låter de ljusa.Kringutrustning är HD 650, Audeze lcd 2c, DT770pro, Schiit asgard 3 och Cavalli tube hybrid.

Relié à un chromecast audio, j'ai la possibilité de lire des fichier audios à 96 Khz sans probléme.

Très bon produit, alimenté avec une powerbank (5v max). Lecture en USB via Audirvana. Son chaud et détaillé, les aigus ne montrent aucune agressivité, les médiums sont soyeux, les voix sont superbes, très bonne extension dans les basses, tout en restant bien maîtrisé.Comme pour tous les supports, attention aux sources...

Pour convertir mes fichiers musicaux. Qui dit musicaux dit musique et là cette fameuse musique semble passée par un boitier électronique qui donne vite envie d’arrêter. C'est clair c'est dynamique comme il est dit souvent mais tout cà manque de musicalité. Mis à la place d'un vieux dac audio gd il y a un monde, moi qui croyait que lélectronique avait progressé dans ce domaine j'en suis pour mes frais. J'ai même fait fonctionné l'appareil sur batterie et là même constat: on en a pour son argent sans plus en se privant de ce que la musique a de plus noble. Encore un truc pas cher certes mais inutile si vous aimez la musique. Peut être pour écouter la musique de 2020 en mp3 sinon passé votre chemin.

exellent son pas d'agressivité dans les aigues et une peche sur mon preampli dac ampli casque atoll hd 100 et meilleur que le dac atoll ,que de progres en 6 ans.mon lecteur cd Cambridge audio 350c et mon lecteur blu ray haut de gamme sony uhp h1 retrouve une seconde jeunesse .pour l'argent un ne peut rien dire.je suis melomane et audiophile ,fils de musicien je begne dans la musique depuis mon enfance.donc je sais de quoi je parle.

Vraiment un super complément à une vielle chaine hifi + un chromecast audio.Son via toslink juste excellent maintenant se sont mes enceintes de 30 ans qui sont sur la selette.Après je n'ai aucune idée dont le matériel vieillit mais à 120€ on ne peut pas tout avoir

This is a second unit after returning the first due to a slight hum on one channel. This one is faultless. I am a self confessed audiophile and have resisted streaming digital music up to a short time ago. My system comprises Musical Fidelity pre/integrated and 100W power amps biamping Tannoy 611 speakers, with a REL 150W subwoofer, using a Musical Fidelity CD player and a Rega Planar 3 turntable as sources. I was given a Chromecast Audio a while ago and have been using the analogue output from this to listen to Spotify and locally ripped CDs via Plex. The convenience of Spotify through the Chromecast had me increasingly listening by this route and so I decided to try an outboard DAC to see if the Chromecast sound could be improved by using its direct optical output. After checking many specs and reviews I decided that the SMSL unit was worth a try as an inexpensive DAC with good design and reportedly good performance. The improvement in quality was immediately noticeable. Clarity and detail is better, imaging is tighter and soundstage is wider. The overall sound profile is not harsh and pretty much maintains the broadly neutral to slightly warm signature in the rest of my system. I have compared the same CD streamed from Spotify with it played directly from the CD player and am hard pushed to hear any difference. Although I don't have experience of using any other DACs, the direct comparison with my CD player is enough for me to be highly impressed by the SMSL unit. As my hi-fi set up is verging on vintage, the SMSL unit has another advantage: a remote control that can be used to control volume into the pre-amp. This remote also allows switching between six filters in the DAC chip but my aged ears struggle to hear much of a difference between these. One thing that does make a noticeable difference is the power supply used. The unit doesn't come with one, as it can be powered directly by the USB source input. However a secondary USB input is provided for auxiliary power. I started by powering this from an old 850mA phone charger and then tried a 1600mA supply from a Bose speaker. The Bose power supply definitely improved the sound. This was confirmed when I tried an Anker four output 2400mA power supply that resulted in thinner and weaker bass. Physically the unit is very well constructed, feels solid and looks very neat. The display that rotates to suit the orientation of the unit is a great trick and indicates that a lot of thought has gone into this design. I am sure that more expensive DACs will sound better but for me the SMSL at this price, that virtually matches the sound of a high end CD player, is a brilliant find!

Ich bin auf das Produkt gekommen, weil ich bei meinem in die Jahre gekommenen SMSL Sanskrit 6th Probleme mit dem USB-Port hatte.Als Ersatz wollte ich zuerst von einer anderen Marke aus Österreich kaufen, doch habe durch Zufall entdeckt, dass es eine zweite Auflage des SMSL Sanskrit 10th gibt, die MKII.Aus technischer Sicht beeindruckt dieses Gerät durch eine extrem niedrige Total Harmonic Distorsion von nur 0,0002% und einem Rauschabstand von 120dB.Auch ein Pluspunkt ist das Fehlen eines Netzteils, der Strom wird direkt über USB zugeliefert und im Gerät gefiltert (was sehr gut funktioniert). Dadurch kann man das Gerät direkt am PC betreiben.Auch die verschiedenen Filtereinstellungen sind interessant.Als ich das Gerät erhielt und auspackte, fiel mir auf, dass das Kabel nicht in der Plastikverpackung war. Jedoch das einzige, was mir auffiel, das Gerät war neu und das Display mit einer Folie verdeckt.Gummifüße zum Aufkleben liegen in zweifacher Ausführung bei, ebenfalls an Bord ist ein USB micro B auf USB A.Bei der Fernbedienung war es notwendig, beide Akkumulatoren genau gleichzeitig einzusetzen, sie passten sonst nicht.Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei und das Gerät sieht gut aus.Beim Einschalten erfreute ich mich über das gutaussehende Display, was besonders bei der schwarzen Version mit den Blauen LEDs sehr gut aussieht.In dem Ein- und Ausschalt-, sowie Select-Knopf befindet sich ebenfalls eine LED, welche rot im ausgeschalteten und blau im eingeschalteten Zustand (wenn man das Display ausschaltet) leuchtet.Die Ausrichtung erfolgt automatisch.KLANGDer Klang ist phänomenal. Hier rauscht nichts und im Vergleich zum Sanskrit 6th habe ich hörbar weniger Rauschen bei meinem Vollverstärker.Beim Ein- und Ausschalten kommen keine Störgeräusche und das Wechseln der Abtastraten läuft auch in aller Stille.Im Vergleich zum Sanskrit 6th scheint der Klang etwas kraftvoller und immersiver zu sein.Mittels der Fernbedienung hat man 6 verschiedene Filter zur Auswahl. Wenn man sich nicht damit befassen möchte, oder keinen Unterschied hört, kann man diesen auf 1 belassen, welcher der "normale" Sound ist, den man von bisherigen DACs wahrscheinlich kennt.Ansonsten bieten diese eine Anpassung auf das eigene Wohlbefinden und das abzuspielende Stück.Ich persönlich höre nur bei Klaviersound einen Unterschied, da dieser sehr komplex und mir dieser sehr bekannt ist. Dafür eignet sich mMn. am besten der Filter 5, welcher kein Echo enthält und den natürlichsten abbildet.Ich empfehle die Augen zu schließen und im laufenden Stück zwischen den Filtern zu wechseln.Praktisch finde ich auch die Möglichkeit, die Lautstärke einzustellen, was sich besonders für Geräte wie das Smartphone oder das Mac eignet.Meine Hardware:Kopfhörerverstärker: Head Box S2Vollverstärker: Amp Box S2Kopfhörer: DT 1990 Pro
