Je suis totalement bluffé par cette mini-pédale. Je l'avais achetée avant tout pour son prix, pour pallier l'absence de reverb sur un petit ampli Orange que je garde à la maison et qui est donc utilisé systématiquement à faible volume : je l'ai trouvée excellente en "spring reverb", pas mal en "plate", pas top (voire un peu inexistante) en mode "room".Et puis j'ai changé d'ampli de travail et, n'en ayant plus besoin, j'ai donné cette reverb au guitariste solo de mon groupe, "pour voir". Elle a donné tout son potentiel en répétition, avec du gros volume bien gras : le son "plate" est tout bonnement superbe, avec beaucoup de brillance et d'ampleur sans pour autant brouiller le son.Au final, elle est parfaite avec un son clean pour jouer surf, et parfaite avec une grosse distorsion pour jouer grunge/punk. Son seul petit défaut est un certain manque de subtilité du réglage : elle donne vraiment son meilleur quand elle est à fond, et perd un peu en "charme" avec un mix plus discret, là où une reverb à l'ancienne ou une pédale numérique nettement plus chère s'en sortiront dans tous les cas.Franchement, si vous cherchez une reverb simple et efficace, je ne vois pas l'intérêt de mettre trois fois plus cher dans les modèles des grandes marques. Sans compter le fait qu'elle ne prend absolument pas de place sur un pedal-board...

J'ai noté peu d'effet de reverb avec cette pédale, snif, dommage... je l'ai donc renvoyée à Amazon, grâce au retour gratuit.

Je posséde une xvive reverb et kong reverb avec les mêmes types de reverb !Je suis plutôt déçu du résultat sur ce modèle sonicake, il y a bien une faiblesse des effets même à fond et à part le room que j'exploite à fond pour donner un peu d'ampleur en clean ou en hi gain cela reste trop subtile en comparaison des autres marques que j'utilise.Si vous désirez une subtilité mais vraiment faible alors vous pouvez l'acheter mais si vous recherchez une reverb avec cette effet ambiant, de l'impact dans votre son et bien passez votre chemin.

Dans le detail impeccable que ce soit la matière , l utilisation ou autre top je recommande

pédale de bonne qualité , testée sur mon pédale board on verra avec le temps mais pour le moment j'en suis satisfait surtout à ce prix

Utilisé en tout début de chaine d`effets pour ma basse . Son plus que satisfaisant , les potars sont réactifs et permettent de trouver le son recherché , magnifie le slap entre autre . Les sons autorisent le funk , le prog , l`indie . Les paramètres de sensibilité , plage de fréquence et vitesse de decay offrent des combinaisons avec peu de limites. une fois "off" ne colore pas le son ; et tout cela pour moins de 30 euros.

Cette pédale d'auto-wah est très pratique et facile à prendre en main. Je l'utilise en jouant de la basse, ce qui donne un résultat très satisfaisant et de bonne qualité !

Distortion sympatique, un peu trop de graves pour moi, mais à ce prix, c'est imbattable.

The Sonicake 5th Dimension is a mini sized digital pedal containing 11 different varieties of modulation including Phase, Flange, Chorus, Tremolo and Rotary.First thoughts on unpacking is that this pedal is built like a tank! Its reassuringly solid and heavy in the hand with one large mode selector to choose the modulation type and three small light-up knobs to control Mix (effect level), Depth (effect depth) and Rate (controlling effect speed). The soft touch on/off switch is a pleasant surprise on a pedal in this price point, engaging gently without the customary clunk.A lot of thought has been put into the presentation of this pedal too, with the inclusion of two cards detailing the 11 modulation effects and a decent quality patch lead & pre cut velcro strip to help you incorporate it straightaway into your pedalboard.Like all mini sized pedals the Sonicake 5th Dimension has no option for battery power but a standard Boss Style 9v centre negative power supply (not included) works just fine.The 11 effects are Phaser, 2 varieties each of Flange, Chorus, Tremolo and vibrato, an Auto-Wah and a Ring Modulator effect. Sound quality throughout is excellent and all settings are very useable to various degrees. With each effect its definitely worth taking some time playing around with the Mix, Depth & Rate controls to find the sweet spot for each and then making a note of each. I particularly liked the ability with the Mix control to set a very subtle level of each effect to avoid it becoming overpowering.After spending time working through and adjusting each effect Stereo chorus is definitely my personal favourite - a really rich chorus effect that sounds fantastic played through a clean amp with some reverb. The Rotary and Tremolo effects came a close second for quality & usability. The Ring Modulator effect (labelled Lofi) is probably the exception as its an effect I never really understood nor used, but I have to admit even this was fun playing around with the balance between the clean and effected signal for some very weird robotic crushed sounds!With the absence of presets and a volume level difference between some of the different effects I'm not convinced that I'd want to be changing effects in a live environment, but that's not really the point because most of all I think this pedal shines as a tool for home use, recording and just finding sounds to inspire and enhance your playing. I'm not usually a big user of modulation effects and I don't have pedalboard space (or the money!) to load up with a selection of different ones - for me its usually a choice between phase, tremolo or chorus - and I'm never satisfied with the one I end up with! This pedal is a great value solution to this dilemma, and a perfect option for the effects newbie who wants to find out what modulation effects can do.

I have been interested in getting one of these "preamp" pedals for quite some time now,ever since i saw a few demos on Youtube for the Mooer preamps,and most recently,the Donner black devil.However,i came across the Sonicake by accident while browsing,and obviously discovered that this one delivers more "bang for the buck" compared to the others,since it models 5 high gain amps in a single device.Nonetheless, i was still reluctant,since a lot of highly educated guitar geniuses will tell you : "Oh, you have to run em into tube amps,or you gotta plug em into the effects loop return, or a computer interface...You can't use em any other way." B.S....I plugged mine into the CLEAN channel of a little Peavey SOLID STATE amp,and to my ears ,it sounds great.In fact, IMO, if i you,re lookin for some high gain distortion,i would bypass Boss and Digitech pedals and get this instead.The "Sandman" is way more amp-like and authentic sounding than your typical distortion pedal.Yeah, in short, i run it along with my other stuff (o.d. pedal,eq pedal etc.) into the front of an amp-the "old school" way, and am very happy with the results.
